First point of this post is to wish you a very happy New Year, full of joy and happiness and so on.

Second point is to talk about manga, yes you read well, I wanna speak about these japanese comics, which seem so popular these days. You're certainly going to say oh crap, another girl trying to catch attention like this. I don't wanna catch attention, I only want to share what I really like.

The manga of the day is Bakuman, you know the new baby of the two authors from Death Note : Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Oba. I have to say one thing, it's a catchy story, really. I've never been stuck by any manga since last august so I think it's already a good point for this story. Another good point is that it's not only catchy (Bleach is/was as well and it's a classical battle manga) but it's also original and that's not something so easy to achieve.

I think it's time to tell you about that so original story. I should have done this earlier. Anyway this manga is a manga about, guess what, mangas. ^^ Well, in fact it's more a story about the making of a manga than a story about mangas in general. It simply explains all the process mangakas are going through, from the beggining of their careers to success. As a Jump manga, heroes are young and to appeal girls as well there are love stories but that's not disturbing because the main problem is still how to make a manga and being successful. Two junior high schooler : Mashiro Moritaka (the drawer) and Takagi Akito (the story-writer) want to be popular in mangas and so they're going through all the usual process of all mangakas and we follow all these steps.

As I said it's not an usual manga, I think it's even nearly biographical, two young boys wanting to be mangakas/two mangakas writing successful mangas, you see what I mean. I don't really know the biography of our two (real) authors and I didn't read that much about this manga so I can't say for sure it's biographical let's say it's at least inspired from their own story. I think it's also because of this that this manga is that interesting.

To finish, even if I think a lot of you are know about Death Note so they know the drawing style, let's open our eyes and see what our characters look like!
